01 · WHY WE EXIST
Western manufacturing is losing the labour-cost race to the East, and the only way back is to get more out of the hours already on the floor. Small and mid-sized manufacturers carry most of that load, yet enterprise software was never built for them. Their best data lives in the heads of two or three experienced people.
We think every factory deserves to know where its hours go. Measuring manual work is the first step toward the productivity that keeps local, sovereign manufacturing competitive enough to survive. The same intelligence is what tomorrow's more automated, on-demand factories will run on.

One ran the line studies by hand. The other builds the vision models that replace them.

- 3.5 years as an operations consultant across defence, pharma, FMCG, automotive and speciality chemicals in the UK, EU and Australia.
- Has run line studies and improvement programmes in around 15 factories.
- Cut a pharmaceutical batch cycle from 14 days to 5, ramped a new production line from 2 to 30 tonnes a day, and saved a speciality chemicals site $1M+ a year.
- First hire at HabitAdd, a 3D-printing startup.
- Co-founded Tailored with Simona.
Simona
Co-founder & CTO
BSc Physics, University of Manchester, with experimental physics awards and research placements on CERN's ATLAS and LHCb experiments.
- 3 years at IBM building and deploying AI across automotive, government and energy, with projects delivering >90% efficiency gains.
- Built industrial computer vision at Silicon Grid.
- Co-founded Tailored with Alexander, taken from idea to live on the App Store and Google Play.
